Entrepreneur Spotlight – Rich Cavagnaro, CEO of AdEdge Water Technologies
Rich Cavagnaro founded AdEdge Water Technologies in 2002. AdEdge specializes in the design, development, manufacture, and installation of custom water treatment solutions for municipal and industrial use. Water system evaluations start with what they call the “AdEdge Treatment Matrix”. The concept behind the matrix is to easily display the 20+ processes and technologies of their unique water treatment processes as well as the contaminants they are able to treat. AdEdge has successfully completed over 850 projects all around the world using their customized water treatment systems. Who is Rich Cavagnaro?
Currently residing in Duluth, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, Rich Cavagnaro is the CEO of AdEdge Water Technologies. Rich has over 30 years of international business experience, which he has leveraged to bring AdEdge to 16 different countries, including the USA, Canada, Argentina, Guatemala, Italy, Australia, and India, to name just a few. In recent years, Rich and his company have received numerous prestigious awards including the Hall County Business of the Year in 2012 and the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce IMPACT Award in 2017. Rich was honored to win the Small Businessman of the Year for the Metro Atlanta Chamber in 2013 and has been a participant on the Georgia District Export Council since 2018. Rich is known to greet his staff every workday by sending them a simple, positive phase to encourage and inspire. During an interview, Rich said, “I really get joy out of seeing my team develop and grow and giving them opportunities to succeed”. Over the years, Rich has created a corporate team that has more than 300 combined years of water treatment experience.
AdEdge Gives Back
Rich and his award-winning team have not only been educating their clients on how to manage their drinking water, industrial processes, chemical and general wastewater treatments they give back to their local and global communities as well. AdEdge started “Helping Hands for Water”, which is a 501(C)(3) that works with “His Heart Missions” to deliver water treatment systems to residents in San Antonio de Los Cobres, Argentina. Additionally, they have collaborated with Arvin Unified School District in California to ensure their students receive clean drinking water. More local community efforts include work with Habitat for Humanity and Gwinnett County Young Professionals as well as an annual No Longer Bound donation drive.
